Andy Hoopers group from Kent and Dorset were next to join us.
Craig Hooper (Dorset) blanked on his previous trip to us but he made up for it this time with 12 fish, 1 x 40, (a 41.14 mirror) 5 x 30’s and 6 x 20’s – good angling Craig!.
Andy Hooper (Kent) was back to try and capture one of the big commons that Moulinots is renowned for, and this he managed on Monday morning when he had a new PB at 50.04, which he was pretty chuffed with! Andy also had 2 x 40’s (the same fish 4 days apart!), 4 x 30’s and 1 x 20, a great result for you Andy, and we know how pleased you were with the common, well done.
Michael Burrows (Kent) also managed to beat his PB when he caught the Cut Tail common at 52.07lbs (spawned out), he also had 1 x 40, 2 x 30’s and 2 x 20’s. Michaels pictures are on the gallery page on the website and on our Facebook page, they are really worth a look!
New boy Lee Crook beat his PB no fewer than 3 times with the biggest fish being a 50.08 mirror, and he also had 2 x 40’s, 1 x 30 and 2 x 20’s, alas Lee didn’t get any pictures of the fifty as it managed to get out of the recovery sling whilst Lee was waiting for one of the other lads to come round and take the photographs! Lee knows what I thought of that and he was rewarded his ‘prize’ on Saturday morning prior to leaving!!
Mike Wilton only had 1 fish but this was also a new PB at 43.12, so not a bad catch.
Gareth also only managed to land 1 fish, a mid thirty after losing countless fish. Not a bad result as temeperatures were in the mid to high 20’s and some fish were still spawning.
Total fish for the week was 36
Average weight 33.09 lbs
